Job Title

A position has become available for a full-time Sheet Metal Fabricator at a prototype engineering company based in LGC, Hertfordshire. The successful candidate will work a basic of 37.5 hours per week, from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm Monday to Thursday, and 7:30 am to 1:00 pm on Friday. The salary will be up to £19.50 per hour, with overtime available regularly. Experience and Person RequirementsSolid background in sheet metal fabrication with TIG & MIG experience. Ability to read technical drawings. Good numeracy skills. Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong team player. Physically fit. Demonstrates loyalty and commitment to the company and team members. Ability to operate different tools and troubleshoot equipment issues. Role ResponsibilitiesOperate laser cutting machines, press brakes, turret machines within a busy sheet metal department. Carry out final assembly ensuring products meet customer specifications.
