Job Purpose:HGV Refuse Vehicle Driver for an industry-leading waste management business based in Astley, Greater Manchester, and Salford. The role involves significant manual handling with start times from 4am. It offers up to £25 per day as a single driver productivity bonus. Main Duties:Carry out daily vehicle walk-round checks, including defect sheets. Drive waste collection vehicles within city centers and rural locations. Move and empty waste containers to and from the vehicle. Maintain the vehicles, keeping them clean and in good condition. Operate vehicles safely at all times. Skills/Qualifications:Current valid Drivers CPC card and Digital Tachograph card. Minimum of 2 years HGV driving experience. Competence in using and understanding Tachograph and current regulations. Knowledge of EU Drivers Hours regulations. High levels of customer service. Ability to follow instructions and good interpersonal skills. Experience in the Waste Industry is preferred but not essential. Qualified drivers with at least two years of experience are welcome to apply.
