We are the leading provider of metering services in the UK energy retail sector, offering efficient and flexible services for gas, electricity, and water meters.Our meter readers install, maintain, and manage meters to ensure customers are billed correctly and energy usage patterns are monitored.Want to come and be a part of it? What will you be doing?As an engineer, you'll be responsible for the safe installation, maintenance, and removal of smart meters. Do you enjoy working independently, chatting with customers, and meeting new people?Customer service is our top priority. You'll ensure all jobs are completed on time and explain the benefits and safe usage of their new smart meters to customers. Do you like meeting new people and making a difference in their lives?On your daily schedule, you'll complete around 5 smart meter installation and removal jobs (SMETS2) in customers' homes. There's also an uncapped bonus for any additional jobs you complete.You will travel around your area using your tablet to view your jobs for the day, with schedules available up to 2 weeks in advance.Continuous training will be provided to develop your skills. Interestingly, 83% of our field management team have been promoted from technicians. We offer long-term career prospects with us.Health and safety are at the core of everything we do. No two days are the same, and you'll have many opportunities to excel.What you’ll bringValid UK driving licence– held for at least 1 year with less than 6 points.Qualifications such as CCN1 / CMA1 / CMA3 with MET1, or NVQ Level 2 in Smart Metering Dual Fuel.Experience installing gas and electric smart meters.Previous MOCOPA experience to a multi-rate level.Additional qualifications like REGT1, 3 phase, or registration on the EUSR portal are a plus but not required.What’s in it for you?
