The role This Technical Support position involves providing business support across all activities within the zone. Responsibilities include administrative support to District operations, Connections, and HV Faults activities, as well as time writing and district management reporting KPIs. What you’ll be doing Manage all business correspondence and communication Handle customer contacts according to relevant processes Provide administrative and management support across the business Assist in building the weekly work programme with District staff and Team Leaders Support the maintenance of the resource plan and work programme Produce and deliver reports and management information within deadlines Liaise with external suppliers and other departments, including printing and collating information for work packs Contribute effectively as a team member of the District team Maintain quality standards in all activities Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements Use safety equipment as required What you will bring Strong planning and organizational skills Excellent communication abilities Significant administrative experience Ability to operate at all business levels Knowledge of business IT systems Familiarity with Energy Networks policies and procedures Understanding of health, safety, and environmental legislation Negotiation, communication, and people management skills Customer service skills Proficiency with MS Office suite Knowledge of AIS, SAP, Cintellate, and ENPaRT systems Minimum Criteria Experience supporting or coordinating multi-stranded projects or equivalent experience PC literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Experience with SAP, CCT, and IRIS systems Knowledge of operations, maintenance, and construction activities GCSE or equivalent qualification What’s in it for you Alongside a competitive salary, we offer benefits such as a pension scheme with matched contributions up to 10%, 36 days annual leave, holiday purchase options, share schemes, health and wellness benefits, and more.
