Job Description

Purpose of the RoleThe Security and Customer Service Officers are responsible for following all client, site, and company policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of Queensgate Shopping Centre, Peterborough. This position is customer-facing and frontline, requiring the relevant license to fulfill the requirements. All staff are expected to be upstanding brand ambassadors.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out all allocated security duties and CCTV monitoring as per the site’s Assignment Instructions, ensuring:Regular patrols of the Centre and Car Park are undertaken, and hazards are dealt with immediately.Instructions from the Security Manager and/or Facilities Manager are executed promptly, prioritizing public safety.Support the Mall Supervisor, senior Management, and the Operations Team.Manage emergencies and evacuations effectively, acting as the point of contact for tenants and emergency services to ensure compliance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order.Complete the daily occurrence book accurately, record incidents in the Incident Log, and document accidents in the appropriate forms.Immediately escalate hazards, risks, or maintenance issues to line management for rapid resolution.Ensure contractors adhere to site H&S policies and procedures upon arrival.Maintain a safe and pleasant environment by promptly dealing with incidents, hazards, obstructions, litter, and spillages.Hold a valid SIA Security License and, if necessary, a Public Space Surveillance License, and adhere to all policies set by Savills, the end client, and Queensgate Shopping Centre.Liaise with local police, residents, authorities, and neighboring businesses to adopt effective security measures based on current information.Provide excellent customer service to site staff and visitors, ensuring their safety and well-being.Investigate and resolve customer complaints patiently and promptly, providing assistance as needed.Perform additional tasks as required within the organization.Skills, Knowledge, and ExperienceMust hold a valid SIA Door Supervision license.Holding a valid SIA CCTV license is advantageous but not essential.#J-18808-Ljbffr
