Field Service Engineer - Vehicle / Forklift Technician Location:Barnsley Salary:£34,000 per annum + overtime and commission Position Type:Full Time, Permanent About the Role: We are seeking experiencedVehicle TechniciansorEngineersto join ourNorth East Field Service Team . Candidates with experience as aForklift Technician ,Plant Fitter ,Plant Technician , or with knowledge ofagricultural machinery ,powered access equipment ,industrial cleaners , ormotor vehiclesare encouraged to apply. You will be part of a supportive team of 12 engineers, workingautonomouslyin the field. Equipment and parts are delivered directly to your van, and jobs are assigned within your local area. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose, service, and repair a variety of STILL material handling equipment, from pallet trucks to VNA and automated trucks. Perform preventative maintenance and inspections at customer sites. Maintain high standards of customer service while working independently. Candidate Requirements: Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills. Ability to work independently on customer sites. Background in plant, powered access, or automotive engineering is preferred.
