Your Mission: The position requires a proactive, customer-driven approach, demonstrating full ownership and responsibility for implementing and completing projects with the customer. The role involves engineering, managing, planning, and resourcing multiple projects within the projects team. It also requires close collaboration with Engineers, Project Managers, the Engineering Manager, and the Commercial Team to support additional sales opportunities. Your responsibilities: Carry out engineering design and commissioning of Digital Power projects, H & S documentation, Design and O & M documentation. Operate and deliver multiple projects to our customers through Schneider Electric Quality Management System and Health and Safety Management System. Ensure that defined project goals, objectives, and performance measures are met or exceeded. Provide full technical management of the projects. Identify project issues and implement proactive plans to resolve them effectively and promptly. Manage financial aspects of small projects, including procurement, invoice approval, variation handling, final account agreement, and monthly cost reviews, in close liaison with the commercial team. Represent Digital Power and develop key relationships with customers and contractors. Attend site meetings as appropriate. Adopt a proactive approach to project progress and your own technical development. Be prepared to travel and work away from home within the UK or abroad as needed. About you: Hold an Engineering degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline. Demonstrate relevant work experience and a strong track record in Project Management, especially in automation control projects. Possess a solid working knowledge of modern control systems in electrical automation (e.g., SCADA, RTUs, PLCs), preferably with Schneider Electric products. Understand industry-standard protocols like Modbus, OPC, IEC61850, DNP3, including cybersecurity considerations. Knowledge of MV and LV electrical networks, three-phase power, and switchgear. Experience in programming SCADA software (PowerSCADA / Citect preferred). Familiarity with Power Monitoring systems (preferably PME) and industrial communication networks. Ability to develop engineering solutions from concept to commissioning. Strong customer relationship skills and collaboration with sales teams for change management. Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Visio, MS Project; AutoCAD and MS SQL Server experience are advantageous. Ability to work independently. Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
