Job DescriptionAre you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking for a new challenge? Look no further! Valeo Snackfoods, a manufacturer of some of the UK’s best loved snacks and confectionery, is seeking a new team member! What you'll be doing: Reporting daily breakdowns and PPM activities Prioritising repair work Planning and monitoring machine performance Negotiating machine availability with the Planning Department Supporting External Contractors Providing technical support for production when required Maintaining high standards of housekeeping, adopting a clean-as-you-go policy Completing paperwork and works sign-off to high standards Key areas of the role: Executing engineering activities Achieving PPM plans and completion rates Maintaining GMP and safety standards within the Engineering Department Implementing and ensuring compliance with engineering processes Maintaining high engineering audit standards Keeping engineering skills and knowledge up to date QualificationsAbout you: Proven competency in all forms of isolation, electrical safety, and safe panel entry Experience in FMCG operations Proficient with computer-based maintenance systems Ability to strip and reassemble machines, including size change procedures and adjustments You will be: An innovative thinker who isn’t afraid to share ideas Driven by health and safety standards Willing and able to work independently and as part of a team Additional InformationSalary: £56,650 per annum Hours: 4 on 4 off, rotating shifts from 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am Benefits include 25 days holiday, a pension scheme, rewards and discounts, free and discounted products, and company events throughout the year.#J-18808-Ljbffr
