Are you ready to be the hero in the fast-paced world of logistics?Your Role You will be working within the team responsible for providing a UK service to our customers, including collecting and delivering cargo to/from airport Ground Handling Agents (GHA) for flight departures and arrivals, arranging special dedicated transport for urgent Express shipments, or booking Temperature Controlled vehicles for pharmaceutical goods. Your role will involve coordinating freight retrieval and deliveries to and from airline sheds/handling agents efficiently and accurately, ensuring full compliance with customs legislation, and managing fleet planning and driver scheduling.Your ResponsibilitiesTruck route planning - Work with Hauliers to drive business performanceCustoms compliance - Adhere to laws, regulations, and procedures governing the import and export of goodsCost control - Review and optimize processes to improve volume utilization and reduce costsProjects - Participate in key focus areas as requiredOversee and optimize relationships with suppliersSupport team metrics and collaborate with stakeholders including Hauliers to meet and exceed targetsBuild strong, collaborative relationships with customers, prioritizing their needs and delivering high customer satisfactionYour Skills and ExperiencesMinimum of 2 years’ experience in an international air logistics forwarding environmentFully familiar with all aspects of ERTS freight/transferExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWorking hours: 4 on, 4 off, 19:00-07:00Onsite working: Full-time onsite presence expectedSecurity Vetting Required This position requires enhanced security clearance checks.
