About The Role: This is a flexible worker role, covering various shifts around a designated area, primarily Monday to Friday, with shifts varying between 6:30 am and 6:00 pm to cover sickness and absences. As part of the site Maintenance team, the Casual Site Maintenance Assistant will support the building's operations, working with the Site team and ensuring a safe environment by following H&S regulations. Key responsibilities include: Ensuring plant and equipment are maintained effectively, making adjustments, and reporting defects. Assisting with testing life safety systems and coordinating remedial work. Performing site-related tasks within capability upon request. Carrying out porterage duties, including setting up and clearing furniture efficiently. Painting and decorating as needed. Performing minor electrical work, such as changing light bulbs. Maintaining fixtures and fittings, including minor repairs. Unblocking sinks, traps, waste pipes, and adjusting taps. Completing litter picking and bin emptying tasks. Performing other maintenance tasks as requested by the Site Manager. Ideal candidate criteria: Right to work in the UK. An enhanced DBS check will be conducted. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency with number and IT skills. Practical approach, initiative-driven. Experience in similar environments is beneficial.
