Base pay rangeDirect message the job poster from Stanton House Principal Consultant - Connecting Businesses in London to top Qualified Finance Professionals.Stanton House is recruiting for an Interim Financial Controls Manager to join a Logistics Business in Derbyshire on a 12-month Contract offering £450-550 per day inside IR35. This hybrid role works 3 days in their Derbyshire office and the rest from home. Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Finance team to develop and implement a structured process for monitoring and reporting on PCI (Payment Card Information) compliance controls Test and oversee the effectiveness of first-line PCI controls, engaging with control operators and reporting on compliance status Partner with control owners to remediate any identified control deficiencies Conduct monthly sample testing of high-risk financial controls, including: Purchase Order (PO) accruals, IFRS 16 lease accounting, Intercompany transactions Perform in-depth reviews of known control weaknesses as required Reviews of balance sheet reconciliations for quality, completeness and adherence to RM BS rec standards Support Compliance & Ethics reviews and related financial analysis within the Finance function as needed To be suitable for this role you must have the following: Qualified or Part Qualified accountant Experience of operating or testing financial controls in either an external audit, internal audit or consulting environment would be beneficial. Prior PCI knowledge not essential but beneficial. Quick to learn new processes, systems etc. Creative and innovative problem solver Able to perform under pressure, especially during year-end deadlines. Confident in making judgments with limited or incomplete data. Team player with a flexible, can-do attitude. Experienced in improving financial control processes. Clear communicator, comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels. Strong Excel skills and SAP experience is a plus. If you feel you meet the above criteria, please do apply.
