Your role involves maintaining safety and security by patrolling and checking the store's interior and exterior for signs of damage, break-ins, or tampering with cash machines. You will also perform daily fire door checks, clear obstructions, and maintain records. In situations of conflict or heightened security concerns, you will support colleagues and customers' safety. Additionally, you'll assist with spot checks on vehicles, paperwork, claims, waste management, and lost property, supporting your manager as needed.
