Billing Specialist - AR Healthcare (Charge Capture)The Finance Operations organization collaborates with all parts of Amazon to provide operations accounting and excellence services, ensuring high controllership at minimal cost. We support systems and processes that accurately pay suppliers, invoice customers, and report financial results. Amazon is expanding its Healthcare Finance Operations Services to enhance capabilities in the healthcare industry. As part of the Amazon Healthcare Global Finance Operations Services team, you will work with talented professionals dedicated to financial improvement, scalability, and process excellence. As we expand our primary care services nationwide, the supporting teams are also growing. Amazon Healthcare is hiring Charge Capture Specialists for the Revenue Cycle team. The Charge Capture Specialist will handle claim submissions, system coding edits, reconciliation of billing tickets, and maintaining spreadsheets. This role involves regular communication with facilities, meeting deadlines, and requires attention to detail, accuracy, speed, and computer proficiency. Key job responsibilitiesEnsure accurate and timely charge entry and claim submission, meeting daily performance goals. Maintain service line agreements and accuracy standards. Resolve Local Edit Errors on claims before submission. Address Missing Encounters where appointments are checked out but no billing ticket received. Handle Orphaned Orders fulfilled without billing tickets. Troubleshoot and escalate system-related issues when needed. Identify operational opportunities, analyze, recommend, and collaborate with teams to implement improvements. Review and suggest changes to policies and procedures to enhance Accounts Receivables processes. Act as the Voice of the Customer by reporting areas for improvement. Participate in developing training materials and quality assurance programs. Adhere to productivity standards set by leadership. BASIC QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in accounting or commerce (B. Com) Advanced knowledge of Excel Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS3+ years of experience in finance operations, shared services, accounts payable/receivable, or general ledger roles Amazon fosters an inclusive culture empowering employees.
