This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a high-energy setting, with shifts from7 pm to 7 am , ensuring a solid 14 nights off after every 7 nights worked. As part of the night shift, you’ll experience a steady flow of cases, with 12 clinics feeding into the overnight service. With the support of a night vet on hand and advanced medical equipment, you’ll be able to provide the highest level of care possible. Key ResponsibilitiesProvide consistent, high-quality care to patients overnight. Monitor anaesthesia and manage patient care pre- and post-operation. Assist with a range of medical and surgical procedures. Support the night vet with diagnostics, treatments, and patient transfers. Ensure patient comfort, including walking, feeding, and toileting. Maintain a clean and compliant environment for all procedures. Engage with clients and provide them with reassurance and updates on their pets' well-being. Skills & ExperienceTo succeed in this role, you’ll need: RCVS qualificationand solid clinical experience as an RVN. The ability to work well within a team and develop positive relationships with colleagues. A calm and compassionate approach to patient and client care, even under pressure. Strong communication skills, ensuring you can provide clear updates and guidance to clients. Flexibility and a willingness to learn and grow in your role. A deep understanding of the importance of compliance, standards, and regulations within the veterinary field. The BenefitsCompetitive Salary : £32,000 to £34,000, depending on experience.
