We're recruiting an experienced Catering ManagerWe are seeking a passionate Catering Manager who excels in delivering exceptional food and world-class customer service. This role involves confidently overseeing all catering and service operations for a major High Street brand on a full-time basis, contracted for 40 hours per week. As a Catering Manager, your responsibilities will include ensuring smooth operation of kitchens and service counters and delivering outstanding food experiences. Shift PatternsVariable shifts Key ResponsibilitiesPreparing high-quality, delicious food Supervising culinary and catering teams to maintain excellent food and customer service standards Managing the efficiency of catering operations, including inventory, budgets, and action plans Communicating with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image Identifying opportunities for new food or service concepts to increase sales Liaising between customers and teams to exceed expectations Supporting and training team members, leading from the front Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety standards across all catering and service teams Ideal CandidatePassionate about great-tasting food and customer service Minimum of two years catering experience Experience managing teams in a similar role NVQ Level 1 & 2 or City & Guilds 706/1 and 2 qualifications Basic Food Hygiene certificate Strong financial acumen Excellent communication and organizational skills Ambitious and motivated, with a desire to upskill Join us at Compass to help feed people, fuel progress, and forge connections across around 6,000 venues.
