Sureserve Compliance South, part of the Sureserve Group, delivers heating services within the social housing sector across London & the South East. We support our clients across domestic gas, commercial gas, renewables, and electrical services. RoleThe role is a key part of the Support Service network for the business, where our procurement team liaises with onsite operatives for ordering and processing materials needed for repair, maintenance, and installation works. Experience in communicating with engineering staff in similar businesses or from a supplier perspective. Obtaining correct supplier Part numbers to process Purchase Orders for materials. Managing the job cycle where materials are required, excluding appointment bookings. Responding to inbound queries from engineers on site for reactive procurement. Handling queries from engineers and the contact centre to escalate urgent reactive purchasing as needed. Performing all associated ad-hoc administrative duties. The successful candidate will haveProficiency in MS Office, especially MS Outlook and Excel. Experience in plumbing, heating, or building material purchasing and procurement. Domestic gas and plumbing materials experience is essential; commercial gas and renewable materials are advantageous but not required. Experience working with engineers and operatives. Ability to provide high-level courteous, professional customer service to colleagues. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Flexible attitude and strong organizational skills.
