This is an exciting role working within the Data Quality Team. The role will involve managing own workload and meeting tight deadlines as well as deputising for the Data Quality Team Leader. The post holder will undertake a wide variety of work that will contribute to data quality awareness and assurance within the Trust. Tasks will include maintaining the consistency/integrity of data on the Trusts systems, providing assistance and advice in the recording of accurate information, regular review of Trust and/or Directorate data quality requirements with the subsequent implementation of any agreed solutions in a rapidly changing environment and participating in a trust wide educational element on the importance of data quality. The post holder will in addition contribute to the maintenance of System Interfaces, Reference Files and Audits. In particular the post holder will coordinate the ward audit performed by the team. Main duties of the jobThe post holder will be the support for data quality projects identified as requiring a lead, being main contact for directorate and data quality colleagues and ensuring accuracy of data for the purposes of performance, commissioning, information governance and any other purpose required. The post holder will use their initiative to manage and progress data quality within the Trust adhering to the local and national standards and escalating issues where appropriate. In particular the post holder will coordinate the ward audit performed by the team. Disclosure and Barring Service : Your post maybe subject to a DBS check which incur a cost dependent on the level of check required (£49.50 for enhanced and £21.50 for standard). I agree to reimburse Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust the cost of a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check if it is required (by deduction from first month’s pay). Should I decide to withdraw from my job offer, I agree to reimburse Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust the cost of the DBS check undertaken by cheque or other agreed method.
