Full-time Radiology Assistant PositionThe Radiology Department is seeking experienced Radiology Assistants who are self-motivated and hardworking to join our team. This is a permanent full-time position, requiring 37.5 hours per week. The successful candidate will assist with patients during radiological examinations and support radiographers in coordinating workflow within the department. Qualifications and ExperienceExperience in patient care and prior radiology assistant experience are required, as you will work alongside radiographers, sonographers, and radiologists during examinations. ResponsibilitiesSupporting radiological examinations Handling general tasks such as taking calls from wards or the Emergency Department and directing clinicians Using the radiology information system (CRIS) to manage patient attendances and maintain accurate records Participating in cleaning and stocktaking duties Work ScheduleThe role requires working both day and night shifts, with participation in a 7-day, 24-hour service.
