Role Overview: As a Risk & Finance Data Governance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in the EMEA Division's BCBS239 Programme. You'll collaborate with stakeholders across various functions to ensure fit-for-purpose data and drive best practices across the industry. This is an exciting opportunity to educate and inspire stakeholders on the importance of effective data governance. Key Responsibilities: For AVP Role: Implement and support the data governance strategy and policy, drive the data governance implementation work, and develop the pipeline. Manage data definition, governance, and lineage for prioritized use cases. For VP Role: Oversee data definition, lineage, and governance for prioritized use cases. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement data standards. Monitor changes to business data requirements, support investigations of data quality issues, develop remediation plans, and engage with teams to communicate data-related business requirements. What We're Looking For: Knowledge and Skills: - Expertise in data governance, data quality, metadata, profiling, and analysis within a financial services environment. - Familiarity with BCBS239 in Tier 1/Tier 2 banks. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, SQL, and data management tools (e.g., Collibra). Experience: - Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to drive consensus. - Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, SharePoint, and exposure to SQL, Python, or R is a plus.
