Our mission is to inspire our colleagues on their pursuit of self-defined greatness, providing the resources needed to strive to becomeBetter Than Yesterday .About the Role We are seeking an experienced Assistant Buyer/Merchandiser or a candidate with the right skills and attitude to take their career to the next level. The role involves trend analysis, sourcing, and working closely with the Design team and other departments to deliver creative, trend-forward analysis to grow the brand. You will report to the Senior Buyer/Merchandiser and manage multiple projects.Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist in sourcing and purchasing fabrics, ensuring optimal stock levels.Source appropriate quantities and assortments, managing logistics.Build relationships with suppliers for color lap dips, strike-offs, and trim sourcing.Analyze sales, stock, and supplier performance data, reporting findings to stakeholders.Manage sample orders, tracking and logging all relevant information.Support range reviews, cost-saving initiatives, and sourcing strategies.Stay updated on market trends, supplier developments, and competitor activity, sharing insights with the team.Contribute to creating successful range plans.Assist with invoice price queries and discrepancies.Collaborate with the Design department on product information and issues.Handle administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.About YouHighly analytical with a keen eye for detail.At least 1 year of experience as an Assistant Buyer or Merchandiser, or 3+ years as an Admin Assistant Buyer/Merchandiser.Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.Experience in a fast-paced environment.Preferred but not required:Experience in a similar brand or the fitness clothing industry.Benefits25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays).Sick pay.Annual apparel allowance.Employee discounts on all Vanquish products.Participation in community events.Free drinks in the office.Quarterly social events.Hybrid working (2 days from home).Free parking.Modern office in a beautiful garden setting.Additional InformationSeniority level: Associate.Employment type: Full-time.Job function: Design, Production, and Supply Chain.Industry: Retail Apparel and Fashion.Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Vanquish Fitness by 2x.Get notified about new Buyer jobs inEnfield, England, United Kingdom .#J-18808-Ljbffr
