We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, inclusive, and collaborative Hospitality Sous Chef to join our team and lead, alongside the Head Chef, a team of 6 within a new space in Shoreditch. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in hospitality, with a creative flair for designing buffet lunches, canapés, and fine dining experiences that meet high standards. Food Preparation:Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and standards set by the head chef, ensuring food safety standards are maintained. Station Management:Oversee production at your station, maintain supplies, and ensure cleanliness. Quality Control:Maintain high standards for presentation and taste. Team Collaboration:Communicate effectively with team members, support colleagues, and coach junior chefs. Menu Development:Collaborate with the head chef on new recipes and improvements. Cleaning and Maintenance:Keep the kitchen clean and equipment in good working order. Requirements include proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar, knowledge of various cuisines and techniques, food safety expertise, ability to work under pressure, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
