Ideally, you will be a qualified Road Safety Engineering Auditor. Your responsibilities include studying highway accidents to recommend safety improvements and effectively communicating complex highway proposals with diplomacy and accountability.We are looking for a proactive, efficient individual who prioritizes citizens and customers, collaborates with stakeholders, and maintains professional standards through excellent communication and organizational skills.About You The ideal candidate will have:Knowledge and experience in developing and implementing road safety and highway policies, procedures, and programs.Experience in designing, constructing, and delivering road safety and highway schemes.Knowledge of undertaking road safety audits and providing development control advice to ensure highway safety.Understanding of budget management, procurement, and contract/commissioning processes.A can-do attitude and willingness to learn complex highway processes.Ability to work with diverse stakeholders, handle conflicts, and manage sensitive issues for positive outcomes.Further details can be found in the full job description.
