We currently have an opportunity to join East Suffolk Council's Environmental Services Team as a Food and Safety Manager. Your role We are looking to recruit an experienced Food and Safety Manager to lead a dynamic, caring and hardworking team covering the whole range of food hygiene, health and safety and infectious disease investigations supporting local business whilst protecting public health. You will: ensure all staff are provided with guidance, support and motivation to perform to the best of their abilities have overall responsibility for implementing the strategic direction, policies and procedures for the Food and Safety team, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of the full range of services including the Council’s statutory obligations. What you will need: Leading by example and providing a strong sense of direction, you will have the ability to inspire, motivate and manage in a fast-paced environment. You will be a natural communicator who can effectively engage others, with a proven track record in forging successful internal and external partnerships and developing innovative and creative approaches be able to influence appropriately and challenge professionally so that the right decisions are made for the council.
