Operational Manager Apprenticeships (Building Services) Uxbridge / Harrow Weald | Further Education College | Permanent An established further education provider is seeking an Operational Manager to lead apprenticeship programmes within Electrical and Building Services , including new and emerging technologies. This leadership role will drive recruitment, employer engagement, and curriculum delivery for apprenticeships aligned with industry needs and funding opportunities. Key responsibilities: Oversee curriculum planning, staffing, and apprentice progress across Building Services Manage quality assurance, performance targets, and compliance with apprenticeship standards Work closely with employers to co-design training plans and support apprentice progression Line manage lecturers and assessors, deputising for the Assistant Director of Apprenticeships Champion learner success through innovative delivery, high retention, and timely achievement Essential: Level 5 teaching qualification (e.g. Cert Ed, PGCE, DET) Assessor/Verifier qualifications Experience delivering and managing apprenticeships in FE Strong knowledge of WBL, ESFA funding, and quality improvement processes If youre an experienced leader passionate about vocational education and ready to shape the future of apprenticeships, get in touch to learn more.
