About The JobWe are a luxury fragrance brand with manufacturing and distribution, based in the UK. We are looking to hire a Finance Manager with experience of managing the day-to-day finances and stock control.The main purposes of the role will be to manage and coordinate stock, prepare and maintain financial records 'statements, and provide up to the minute reporting to a dynamic and fast-moving sales team.Accounting responsibilities:Prepare monthly management accounts and forecastsManaging and coordinating small accounts, sales order processing and logistics teamAdhoc reporting as required by Company ManagementOversee accounts payable and receivable (including credit control).Bank ReconciliationManage Internal expenses, and the introduction of procedures to ensure all expenses are authorised and captured into the accounts.The main purpose of the stock control role is to ensure there is accuracy across inventory records and to manage the flow of goods to clients.Stock control responsibilities:Organising and management of stock counts and reportsMonitoring aged stock through quality checks and managing any destruction processesWorking with warehouse staff, alongside all other relevant departmentsManaging stock flow to both business and private clientsForecasting and placing orders to prevent both out-of-stock and overstocking situationsSkills and qualifications:Sage & QuickBooks experience essential Wholesale, retail and online sales environments experience essentialDegree in Business or Accounting preferableWork experience in and knowledge of Accounting PrinciplesWork experience in and knowledge of Accounting Software and ExcelStock Controller, Finance Manager or similar role experience essentialOutstanding attention to detail with excellent analytical skillsAbility to communicate clearly and accurately at all levelsSalary and Prospects:Salary is negotiable based on experience.
