Contract & Procurement Lead Gloucester-based with flexible working and travel across regional sitesSalary: £38K- £41K Permanent, Full-Time (36 hours per week)Are you an experienced contract management professional ready to lead procurement strategies and optimise contract performance? My client is seeking a highly motivated and collaborative individual to take on this newly developed role as Contract & Procurement Lead. This role will play a pivotal part in overseeing the full contract lifecycle, driving procurement best practices, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. You will support strategic decision-making through data analysis and work closely with colleagues across departments to streamline processes and ensure contractual obligations are met.Key Responsibilities:Lead the administration and lifecycle management of contracts across multiple sitesSupport and advise on procurement activities and tendering processesEnsure compliance with procurement legislation and internal policiesBuild and manage supplier relationshipsDeliver training and tools to enhance procurement awareness and contract performanceThe ideal candidate:Significant experience in contract and procurement managementStrong understanding of public and/or commercial sector contracting practicesExcellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skillsRelevant qualifications (degree or professional certification such as CIPS/IACCM preferred)This is an exciting opportunity to shape and improve procurement and contract management across a growing multi-site organisation, contributing directly to its strategic success.
