Up to £37,00037 hours per week, Monday to Friday – 8.30am to 5.00pm (4.30 finish on a Friday)There would be an opportunity to work from home on occasion, and could accommodate 1 day per week, however this would not necessarily be a set day27 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays and Christmas closureEmployee discount and rewards schemeThere may be some travel required to other sites as needed – Wellingborough, Corby, Silverstone, BedfordKey Responsibilities:Partner strategically with Group Heads of HR and Group HR ManagerSupport HR strategies and initiativesAct as HR lead in the absence of the Group HR ManagerServe as the key point of contact for complex casesCommunicate serious employee relation matters timelyProvide regular case work updatesOffer clear HR advice and coaching to Line ManagersContribute to HR team and organisation developmentWork on HR projects and initiativesProvide support, advice, and guidance on Employee Relations (ER)Manage a positive workplace cultureHandle casework proactivelyProvide timely advice on employee relations mattersAnalyse internal data for insights and solutionsManage restructuring and redundanciesEnsure advice reflects current legislation and best practicesSupport new managers through induction processesBalance and manage caseloads across the HR teamEnsure accurate administration of the employee life cycleMaintain effective HR records compliant with GDPR regulationsEssential Requirements:Qualified to CIPD level 3 or working towards level 5 qualification or similarExtensive employee relations knowledge and practical experience working within a HR Advisor roleExperience of working in a fast-paced HR environment, with substantial experience leading on employee relation matters and case managementExcellent knowledge of employment legislation and best practices in employee relationsSubstantial experience working in a generalist HR role and able to demonstrate the application of HR policy in practiceUnderstanding of Equal Opportunities and Data Protection legislationProficient in HR systems and MicrosoftEffective communication skills
