DescriptionLeading UK fencing contractor is looking to recruit an Apprentice Steel Fabricator. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to undertake a crucial role within our fast-growing & progressive business. This is a rewarding and progressive role suited to an energised and motivated individual.Key Responsibilities Cutting, grinding, painting and shaping steel Understanding Fabrication drawings, standard fencing specifications and fabrication methods General checks to Machinery, along with basic maintenance and safety checks Forklift operations (if qualified), loading and unloading lorries Fabricating, making alterations and repairing various items Working in a safe manner adhering to company guidelines Keeping fabrication unit clean, safe and tidy Attending training courses as required Experience and QualificationsNecessary: Ability to read drawings Ability to use tools and equipment Receive and handle fabrication and fencing materials Be able to maintain working relationships Desired: Ability to weld Full Driving License Forklift operators card Salary and BenefitsAs part of the Network Plus Group, Littlewood Group is the UKs leading SME fence installation contractor, with offices in East Sussex, the Midlands and Wales.
