Job DescriptionBuyer Food Birmingham Up to £40,000 + Excellent benefitsCurrently looking for a ambitious and driven Buyer to join a successful family run business who specialise in food and beverage retail. They have experienced phenomenal growth in the last few years which shows no signs of slowing down and as a result they are growing their team at their Birmingham head office.You will be responsible for delivering a commercially focused product range within core grocery that meets both company and team targets, while maintaining a strategic business focus to ensure continued growth within the categories.Building & maintaining strong relationships with both large FMCG suppliers and smaller independent suppliers Sourcing suppliers & negotiating best cost prices. Analysing sales figures to plan successful future lines. Review levels of own brand stock & ensure adequate levels are available and minimise risk Presenting reports, figures & trend information to the Senior Management team Dealing and resolving problems/queries relating to damaged or out of date product.
