Title: Transport Manager Location: Bradford Salary: up to £42,000Elevation Recruitment Group's Procurement & Supply Chain division are working exclusively with a key client in Bradford as they look to recruit a Transport Manager to join their team.Key Skills & Experience required: International CPC required Key duties of the Transport Manager will include: Management of the transport team within the office and ensuring they are carrying out duties correctly and identifying any training requirements Driver recruitment and management including any additional training which requirements identified Overall responsibility for the planning, reviewing and improving delivery schedules to ensure route optimisation Ensure that the entire team including drivers are professional when dealing with customers Work with other departments to ensure we manage to service our customer requirements Make decisions on vehicle operations during adverse weather to ensure safe running of the fleet Ensure subcontractor relationships are in place for different regions to cover work going to destinations where it is not efficient to send our own fleet Identify and negotiate with agencies to ensure we can source reliable drivers at short notice when required ...
