High Level Clearance Cisco SME / Senior Network Engineer x 2 Location: Bracknell or BirminghamDuration: 6 months (long term extensions expected)IR35: InsideRate: £500-550/day (negotiable)Overview We're looking for a Cisco Subject Matter Expert to support the design, deployment, and management of complex network infrastructure. You'll bring deep technical knowledge of Cisco technologies, acting as a go-to expert across multiple projects and teams.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design and implementation of Cisco-based network solutions (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi)Troubleshoot and resolve high-level network issuesProvide expert input on infrastructure projects and proposalsCollaborate with security, infrastructure, and cloud teams to ensure robust and secure network designsMaintain detailed technical documentationOffer mentoring and knowledge transfer to internal teamsKey Skills & ExperienceStrong hands-on experience with Cisco routing, switching, and firewallsDeep understanding of protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and MPLSExperience with Cisco ISE, ASA, Meraki, and Nexus platformsSolid understanding of network security best practicesFamiliarity with network monitoring and management toolsCisco certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE) preferredExperience working in enterprise or government environments is a plusAPPLY NOW to avoid disappointment!Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply.
