Job Title:Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant Location:Lambeth, London Start Date:ASAP Contract Type:Full-Time, Long-Term Working Hours:Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM Pay Rate:110 - 120 per day (dependent on experience)Job Description:Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting pupils with additional needs? A welcoming and inclusiveSpecial Educational Needs (SEN) school in Lambethis seeking a confident and skilledSEN Teaching Assistantto join their team. This is along-term position , ideal for someone with prior experience supporting students with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social-emotional challenges. You will play a vital role in ensuring students feel supported, included, and able to access learning tailored to their individual needs.Key Responsibilities:Provide dedicated 1:1 and small group support to students with SENAssist with behaviour regulation strategies and learning interventionsCollaborate closely with class teachers, therapists, and SENCOsSupport EHCP goals and implement individual learning plansHelp maintain a safe, positive, and structured learning environmentCandidate Requirements:Minimum 6 months' experience working in a SEN setting (school or similar)Excellent understanding of ASD, SEMH, and other learning difficultiesConfident managing behaviour positively and calmlyAble to build strong relationships with students and staffEnhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)Right to work in the UKWhy Join This School?Supportive leadership and experienced SEN staffOngoing CPD and development opportunitiesPositive and collaborative team cultureMeaningful, rewarding work that makes a difference daily#J-18808-Ljbffr
