This post will provide services to the York and Scarborough geographic areas.We are a specialist service that strives to deliver excellent standards of care to expectant and new mothers with severe and complex mental health problems. We are looking for a highly motivated practitioners with an interest in perinatal mental health, however further specialist training and supervision will be provided to the successful candidates.The Applied Psychologist role is key to the provision of high-quality care for patients, carers, and families within Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Community Service. This role is highly valued in the team, Care Group and within the Trust, with good professional support.Main duties of the jobThe post holder will provide specialist psychological assessments, formulation and therapies and be part of an MDT approach.
