Rewards and BenefitsSalary:£13.89 per hour Free, healthy, high-quality mealsduring shifts Career development opportunities Personal Development programsto support your career growth Corporate Responsibility initiatives(Team Member Travel Program:discounted hotel stays and 50% off food and beverages (subject to outlets) Referral Program Discounted health and dental coverage High street discountsvia Perks at Work Discounted parking Holiday entitlement:28 days including bank holidays, increasing to 33 days over time Modern, inclusive team areas Key ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for: Monitoring and controlling staff entrances Conducting searches of staff and reporting discrepancies Managing goods pass procedures for items purchased or loaned Overseeing contractor activities in line with health and safety policies Checking goods received outside of normal hours Maintaining records of departmental keys Operating and monitoring CCTV systems Patrolling the hotel, ensuring fire walks are conducted and recorded Safeguarding cash transfers within the hotel Supporting hotel evacuation during fire alarms Monitoring suspicious packages and understanding bomb and terror threat procedures Providing secure storage for guest oversized items Securing hotel facilities and function rooms when not in use Maintaining security logs and incident reports Investigating thefts, damages, and incidents Managing undesirable behaviour professionally and intervening when necessary Liaising with police in the absence of the Security Team Leader Reporting maintenance or hazard issues Adhering to health and safety regulations Qualifications and SkillsWe are looking for candidates who: Have knowledge of fire procedures, disaster plans, bomb threats, and hotel evacuation protocols Are familiar with local laws and regulations Maintain discretion and confidentiality Are SIA licensed and trained Can work under pressure and remain calm in emergencies Preferred Additional SkillsIt would be advantageous if you: Have previous customer service experience Possess First Aid certification Know P.A.C.E. procedures Every Job Makes the Stay.
