Your responsibilities include patrolling and checking both inside and outside areas of the store for signs of damage, break-ins, or tampering with cash point machines. You will also conduct daily checks on fire doors, ensure clear pathways, and maintain fire door records. In situations of conflict or heightened tension, you will support in ensuring safety and security. Additionally, you will assist your manager with random spot checks, including acting as a witness, recording details, checking vehicles in the warehouse yard with drivers present, and verifying paperwork related to claims, returns, waste management, and lost property.
