Joining an already high performing team, the successful candidate will be working from our depot located in Romsey and will have primary responsibility for overseeing the delivery of frontline waste collection services.If you enjoy managing a proactive team providing essential services for the public, we have a great new prospect within our Environmental Services team for you. You will lead and supervise a team of drivers and waste collection operatives. Ensuring all statutory collections are made, engaging with residents to support their enquiries and continue to develop and maintain a positive workplace and team.It is essential that you have a supervisory/management qualification to manage staff or equivalent experience. A recognised qualification in waste management or equivalent by experience and knowledge is also desirable. You will be working with colleagues at all levels of the organisation, as well as members of the public and councillors, you’ll need good communication skills.
