Innovation, collaboration, and quality are at the core of everything we do — for the benefit of both our clients and our team.The Opportunity: We are looking for an experienced Intermediate OR Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team. This is a hybrid role, with flexibility to work from home while attending the Nottingham office a few times per week.Key Responsibilities:Develop and design mechanical building services systems, including Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Public Health and Plant Rooms.Produce detailed design packages: schematics, layouts, calculations, and specificationsDeliver mechanical designs across project stages (Stage 3 – Stage 5)Ensure designs meet relevant industry standards, regulations, and energy efficiency targetsCollaborate closely with multidisciplinary design teams for integrated building services solutionsConduct site visits and inspections to ensure the quality and compliance of installationsAttend client meetings and liaise with contractors, stakeholders, and consultantsMentor and support junior engineers and contribute to internal knowledge sharingStay updated with the latest industry trends, standards, technologies, and best practicesAbout You:Minimum HNC Qualified.Minimum 4 years’ experience in mechanical building services design within a consultancy or contractor environmentStrong proficiency with AutoCAD for mechanical services drawings (essential)Experience with Revit MEP (preferred) — or willingness to develop skillsProven experience delivering detailed mechanical design at Stage 4+Strong technical understanding of mechanical design principles and UK regulationsAbility to manage multiple projects, work to deadlines, and maintain attention to detailExcellent communication, interpersonal, and collaborative team skillsBased in Nottinghamshire or within daily commuting distance to Nottingham city centreRight to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)What We Offer:Hybrid working – Flexibility between home and Nottingham office.Competitive salary based on experience.Company pension schemeAnnual bonus potential linked to personal and company performanceOpportunities for professional development, CPD, and career advancementInvolvement in diverse and exciting projects across a wide range of sectorsA supportive, collaborative, and forward-thinking work environmentWhy Join Us?We believe in delivering the best solutions for our clients — and creating the best opportunities for our people.
