Job Description Lions Intelligence is seeking a Product Manager to help manage their next generation of digital products within the Contagious brand. This is a highly visible and challenging role, and will be a key driver towards building a customer centric and ‘digital first’ approach - it is a great opportunity to make a significant creative impact. This role will join an extremely successful team who have played a key part in growing our digital business for many years.We are looking for a pragmatic and product manager who will bring previous experience of a successful delivery of a medium to large-scale digital transformation inside of a business where digital had not previously been at the operational core.The successful candidate will be an innovative, customer-focused with a growth mindset, who balances product intuition, creative problem solving and data-driven decision making. An understanding of the marketing and advertising industry with the ability to see the perspective of key industry players.As a Product Manager you are in the pivotal role of translating user and business needs into product strategy and products. Working closely with various stakeholders to evaluate product opportunities and determine what gets built and delivered to customers.We’re early on in our product management journey here at Contagious, and so we’re looking for someone who doesn't mind getting stuck in so we can navigate the path together.Key Responsibilities Implement and instil product discipline by following best practice product development methodsAggregate input from many different stakeholders and translate them into a product/module strategyDescribe what to build and the expected business outcomes for Contagious and its customers, through the means of writing epics or by building prototypes alongside, UX designersManage, prioritize and maintain the product backlog and align and collaborate with the engineering team during the build processForster alignment between the, sales, marketing, data science and product engineeringEstablish and monitor product metrics / KPI and report on themWork with Commercial leads to define pricing and competitive positioning for each productWork closely with Sales and Marketing on go to market strategies for each product or product linesCollaborate with Data Science colleagues, to ensure data and analytics are at the heart of the customer offeringDrive continuous improvement & flexibility in the team, while championing product management best practicesQualificationsA curious mindset – you have the desire to learn more about a market and customers and you are not afraid to push the envelope to build something others thought can’t be doneA Story Teller – you can talk about the product and inspire others to believe in it.A team player – someone who enjoys collaborating with others to build digital products our customers will find useful and innovative.You can work with many different stakeholders, listen to them and explain to them how your product will address their needs or concernsThe ability to balance both customer centric and internal requirements.3+ years’ experience working in a cross functional team where you have been exposed to varied business functions and areas.Ability to translate technical terminology to business stakeholdersAbility to work on multiple projects and apply structure, rigour and priorities to your workload Additional Information We work hard to make sure Life at Informa is rewarding, supportive and enjoyable for everyone.
