Mechanical EngineerPermanentCompetitive Salary on Offer + BonusMonday to Thursday, 8:00am – 4:30pm, Friday, 8:00am – 3:30pm (Flexible Working Hours Available)Coventry Mechanical EngineerJob DescriptionLead or support product development projects from requirements capture to entry into service.Perform and review engineering calculations and simulations to validate design.Oversee creation and approval of technical documentation in line with internal, customer, and government standards.Coordinate cross-functional engineering teams including stress, thermal, vibration, and reliability experts.Support cost tracking, risk analysis, and design reviews to ensure project targets are met.Collaborate with Supply Chain and Operations to ensure designs meet manufacturing and cost goals.Assist in the development and review of qualification test documents and test setups.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and participate in corrective action activities.Mechanical EngineerEssential Experience/Skills/QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Engineering5+ years’ experience in mechanical engineering, ideally within aerospaceExperience with Design for Manufacturing (DFM), GD&T, and standard manufacturing processesSolid background in project management, including cost and schedule trackingFamiliarity with DFMEA, risk analysis, and engineering change managementStrong communicator—confident presenting to customers and leading technical discussionsAerospace or Aircraft Systems knowledge preferredMechanical EngineerCompany BenefitsBonus10% PensionIf you feel you’re a good fit for this position, please click ‘apply’ or email me at
