Known for delivering high-quality commercial projects across the UK, they are seeking a proactive and highly organised Office Administrator to support their busy Operations Department.The RoleThis is a varied and hands-on role, ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys working across multiple departments. The Office Administrator will play a key role in supporting procurement, finance, and project delivery teams, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations both in the office and occasionally on project sites.Key ResponsibilitiesRaise and manage Purchase Orders and Subcontract OrdersLiaise with Procurement to support supplier communications and material trackingCollaborate with Finance on expenditure tracking, invoice reconciliation, and cost reportingMaintain accurate project documentation and internal reportsAttend project meetings and site visits, take minutes, and follow up on actionsCreate and maintain trackers, logs, and registers (primarily using Excel)Manage meeting schedules, team calendars, and booking requirementsHandle general administrative duties such as filing, document formatting, and correspondenceSupport with onboarding processes and basic HR adminManage office supply ordering and liaise with facilities when requiredEnsure compliance with internal processes and documentation standardsProvide flexible, ad-hoc support to department heads as neededSkills & ExperiencePrevious experience in an administrative or office support role (ideally within construction, engineering, or utilities sectors)Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data handling)Strong organisational and multitasking skillsClear and professional communication – both written and verbalComfortable working across departments and handling multiple prioritiesAble to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervisionMinute-taking and site admin experience is a plusCSCS card is desirable (or willingness to obtain one)BenefitsFlexible hybrid working model (3 days office / 2 days remote)Exposure to diverse departments and development opportunitiesSupportive team culture within a stable and growing business
