McBride Sport is recruiting on behalf of Ascot for a creative and driven Social Media Manager to lead content for QIPCO British Champions Day, the prestigious finale to the UK flat racing season.Salary: £40,000 – £45,000Key responsibilities include:Leading the social media strategy for British Champions Series (BCS), including QIPCO British Champions Day, Club 26 and the Hall of FamePlanning and overseeing content production, from concept to deliveryManaging daily relationships with social and digital agenciesCreating engaging, on-brand content to grow and energise audiencesRunning community management and reactive engagement across all platformsWorking closely with partners and stakeholders to bring racing and lifestyle stories to lifeTracking social growth and content performanceManaging budgets and delivering against clear KPIsThe ideal candidate will have:A genuine interest in horse racing – or previous experience working in the sport – is highly desirableProven experience in a social media management roleStrong working knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), and YouTubeExcellent writing skills and an eye for detailExperience overseeing content shoots and working with creatorsConfidence managing agencies and collaborating with stakeholdersFlexibility for UK travel as requiredThis is a fantastic opportunity to take a leading role in promoting one of British sport’s biggest events.
