PE Global is currently recruiting for a Microbiologist for a leading multi-national confectionery, food, beverage, and snack food company client based in Wokingham.This is a contract role until 31st January 2026, working hours are 36 hours per week, 9am – 5pm, Thursday – Monday.Pay Rate is up to £14.74 per hour PAYE.Duties of the role/Responsibilities TechnicalPerform a range of basic routine analysis under supervision of a senior member of staff.Operate basic lab equipment as directedBe competent in the use of generic and specific software packages required for the role: Laboratory’s LIMS system, Q-Pulse, etcProvide training in routine activities.Perform Lab admin and housekeeping duties as directed.Will be expected to work in different laboratories if the demand is required.Work as part of an efficient analytical teamWork to the highest standards of safety and quality by ensuring that appropriate COSHHs, risk assessments and SOPs are understood and followed.Education/Experience Good written and verbal communication skills.Self motivated, enthusiastic and quick to learn.Well organized and capable of working on multiple activities concurrently.Computer literate in standard MS office applicationsScientific understanding of basic lab equipmentInterested candidates should submit an updated CV.***Please note our client cannot assist with any visa sponsorship and candidates must have the correct visa to live and work in UK***
