PROCUREMENT BUSINESS PARTNERLocation: West Midlands / South EastHours of work: 40 hour per weekContract Type: PermanentThe Procurement Business Partner will play a key role in supporting a high-profile account across the UK, working closely with stakeholders to deliver procurement excellence.This role is about more than just cost savings — it's about driving efficiency, improving service quality, and identifying opportunities for innovation and performance improvement.Job DescriptionYou will be working across two well-established and prestigious organisations in the Defence Sector, with strong reputations and a healthy pipeline of work.It’s a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with respected industry leaders and contribute to long-term, strategic goals.So, if you're looking to make a real impact within a supportive, forward-thinking environment, this role offers the perfect platform to do so.Key ResponsibilitiesQuickly understand the role and create a clear roadmap for the year ahead and into the futureStrong focus on cost control and spend analysisManage supplier assurance and risk effectivelyAct as key link between site teams and wider procurementRegularly engage in Teams meetings and client communicationsTrack savings and maintain accurate glide path dataAbout YouProven experience of working as a Procurement Business Partner / Procurement Manager / Procurement Specialist (or equivalent) with strong P2P and sourcing knowledgeSkilled communicator across all stakeholder levels and formatsExperienced in supplier relationship and change managementResults-focused: Driven to achieve cost savings and make things more efficient.Experience of managing spend- via cost control, glide paths, data analysis, and savings trackersPossess an analytical mind and strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and act on cost-saving opportunities and operational improvements.Confident managing procurement renewals and riskEffective conduit between site and central teamsCIPS qualified or working towards (Desirable)Ability to obtain BPSS Security Clearance.
