EMEIA PED Assembly Technician Temporary or permanent positions available. Kurt J. Lesker Company is seeking a skilled and motivated assembly technician to join our Process Equipment Division. This person is responsible for the assembly of standard and custom products, sub-assemblies and coating systems. Assembles or modifies mechanical or electrical assemblies from schematics or work instructions of a higher complexity. Additional leadership roles and / or administrative responsibilities maybe included. If you thrive in a precision-driven environment and have a strong eye for detail, we want to hear from you.Key Job Elements:Assembly and testing of higher level mechanical and electro-mechanical assembliesElectrical Wiring and / or plumbing (hard and soft) within the system frameworkMounting of mechanical and electrical sub-assembliesAbility to troubleshoot complex mechanical and / or electrical assembliesAbility to perform helium leak detectionMay include leadership roles to assist Manager in quality control, scheduling and daily activitiesMay include some customer interaction and on-site service workTraining of other technicians on proper methods and techniques regarding assembly tasksAbility to safely use standard tools and portable power equipmentMay include some basic manual machining capabilitiesPerform work in a logical, orderly and skillful manner while maintaining a high level of quality workmanshipClean and maintain work areaTypical working hours: Weekdays 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM may include required overtimeOther duties as assignedQualifications:RequiredGCSE’s or equivalent5 – 10 years related experienceAbility to bend, stoop, squat, twist and lift up to and including 14KG unassisted.
