About the WardOur ward provides care for patients up to 16 years old with a wide range of medical and surgical needs, both acute and elective. We have 8 beds, including 2 enhanced care cubicles, delivering Level 1 & 2 care to children and their families. You can expect to care for children with conditions such as bronchiolitis, diabetes, safeguarding needs, orthopaedic post-surgery, and more. Support and TrainingYou will be supported by practice educators, band 6 senior nurses, lead nurses, matrons, and the wider multidisciplinary team through your induction and preceptorship programmes.
