The Children's Respiratory team at NUH Children's Hospital provides a comprehensive service for a range of respiratory conditions based on national and local guidelines.The service is a tertiary referral service and provide a service for the East Midlands. The Children's LTV team provides specialist services for Children and Young People on home ventilation. It is one of the few trusts nationally, that offer specialist LTV nursing and therapy community support across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Lincolnshire, with some support now being offered in Staffordshire.As a Clinical Psychologist working in the services, you will provide a specialist service for children, young people and their families to help with psychological distress and treatment outcomes.We would welcome applications from newly qualified psychologists, or 3rd Year Trainees due to qualify in 2025.Main duties of the jobThe main duties of the role will involve working closely with the multidisciplinary Children's Respiratory and LTV Teams. You will work with children, young people and their families through consultation to staff, direct work and by attending multidisciplinary clinics. Your base will predominantly be at the Children's Hospital QMC campus.
