Job Description: Customer Development ManagerLocation:Woking, UK Job Purpose:To deliver budgeted sales and profit growth, whilst developing operational and strategic partnerships between Colgate-Palmolive and Tesco, within a sustainable, mutually profitable business model. What you will do:Deliver quarterly and annual net sales/margin/profit targets by building, implementing, and actively managing a Joint Business Plan based on tailored commercial plans. Demonstrate commercial acumen in interrogating the business to identify issues and opportunities for resolution and optimization. Showcase P&L exception modeling with opportunities to accelerate the Tesco business and present findings to Senior Stakeholders. Understand Tesco's short-term and long-term strategy, their shopper, and how Colgate-Palmolive can optimize brands and strategic intents within this environment. Collaborate with your Shopper Development Manager to build a shopper-focused, outperformance plan as part of the JBP. Work with Shopper Marketing to develop a retail media plan that raises brand awareness and supports Tesco initiatives. Contribute to and shape the overall team strategy within Tesco CDT, working collaboratively to optimize team performance. Work with CP customer marketing and brand managers to identify, develop, and implement business solutions to drive Tesco business forward. Build external networks to enhance customer engagement, understand Tesco better, and identify new business opportunities and challenges. Develop internal networks to raise the profile and support for Tesco, conducting Quarterly Reviews with Senior Directors to update and align on business topics. Collaborate with Tesco CAP to forecast volume, sales, and investment through effective planning and risk management. Develop and implement a 3-year Tesco strategy with an engagement plan, tracking progress weekly, monthly, and quarterly. Lead business development projects within the customer development function to influence broader Colgate-Palmolive business growth.
