Customer Delivery Driver - Aylesford CFCJoin us as aCustomer Delivery Driver - Aylesford CFCatTesco . Our pay rate starts from £13.35/hour, increasing to £14.56/hour for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week for new colleagues, with options for fewer hours (minimum 12). We also support flexible scheduling within specified availability windows, with 3 weeks' notice for shifts. As the face of Tesco on the road, you will deliver from Lands’ End to John O’Groats, meeting customers in their homes daily. The role involves more than driving: helping others and delivering excellent service with a smile. This hands-on, varied role makes each shift unique. You'll deliver to your customers independently but with support from managers and colleagues back at the store. Whether seeking flexibility, stability, or a career change, everyone is welcome at Tesco. Responsibilities include:Ensuring the van and trays are clean and organized. Maintaining a tidy delivery area and picking up litter. Washing trays as part of the process. Loading the van and checking its roadworthiness. Communicating with customers about order changes, substitutions, and refunds. Handling products with care and delivering within the scheduled time slot. Calling customers before early arrivals and informing the store if running late. Requirements:Building positive relationships with colleagues and customers. Being welcoming and understanding customer needs. Responding quickly to changing customer demands. Being energetic and driven to exceed expectations. Sharing ideas for store improvements. Holding a full UK/EU/EEA driving license (automatic or manual) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points. Adhering to GB Domestic Driving Rules.
