Tameside Public Health has an exciting opportunity with three Public Health Programme Officer (PHPO) roles available: 1 x PHPO focusing on health protection and sexual health. 1 x PHPO focusing on substance misuse and social prescribing. 1 x PHPO fixed-term for 1 year, focusing on children, young people, and early years. These roles support the development and delivery of public health strategies and services in Tameside, aligned with key strategies like the Health & Wellbeing Strategy. Each role emphasizes statutory, mandatory responsibilities, and broad public health support. Responsibilities may vary based on local priorities. About YouWe seek an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with excellent organizational and communication skills. You should have experience in public health program development and delivery, with strong technical skills. Proven collaboration with colleagues and partner organizations to reduce health inequalities is essential. The ability to communicate effectively at all levels, handle complex projects, and apply your knowledge to meet organizational needs is required.
