PE Global is currently recruiting for a Validation Engineer (Engine validation) to join a leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment based in Stafford.This is an initial 12 months contract based on site. Pay rate is £32.69 ph PAYE and £44.37 ph Umbrella.Duties of the role/Responsibilities Mechanical verification and validation of diesel engines, components and systems.Defining and managing engine, system and component validation plans.Coordination of day-to-day engineering activity and management of test and analysis activity.Failure analysis and defect resolution using industry-standard methods.Technical reporting.Conducting all work to operating procedures and local work methods in order to meet compliance with quality standards.Support to the design function is required through FMEA processOccasional overseas travel may be necessary as required by business needs.Education/Experience Engineering degree or other equivalent qualification/experience.Experience in engine validation gained from diesel, petrol or gas engine development.Experience in FMEA, validation plans definition and work/test instructions.Familiar with the 8D method and root cause analysis toolsWorking knowledge of industrial diesel engine systems including, but not limited to, fuel systems, cooling, turbocharging, lubricationExperience with data analysis tools (e.g. CANape, Osiris, etc.).Excellent organisation, communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.PC literacy, excellent use of all MS Office components.High standard of written technical reporting.Interested candidates should submit an updated CV.Please click the link below to apply.***Please note our client cannot assist with any visa sponsorship and candidates must have the correct visa to live and work in UK***
